St. Aloysius St Vincent de Paul Conference

The St. Aloysius St. Vincent de Paul Conference was re-established nearly 25 years ago with the goal of providing assistance, financially and spiritually, to those in need throughout the geographical boundaries of the Church Parish.  TEN teams of SVDP volunteers, “Vincentians”, come together TWO BY TWO, to meet, pray and assist our neighbors in need of rent, utilities, food, medicines, and, most of all, love and hope for future.  During these times, the face of Jesus comes to life and light in our neighbors and to the Vincentians who are so privileged to serve within this ministry.  The Conference is forever grateful for the generosity and leadership of the St. Aloysius Catholic Church Parish to support those most in need of the basic necessities to live.

The St. Aloysius St. Vincent de Paul Conference has been busy!

On December 18,  the Conference, St. Aloysius Clergy and Bishop Duca gathered at the home of Jeannette and Mike Rolfsen for a Holy and Festive Night to celebrate the Christmas Season and the love and light that shine through the ministry as we come together to grow in holiness and fellowship in love of our dear neighbor.

On February 24, the Conference gathered at Light House Coffee for a Planning Meeting to discuss the next steps to take in achieving goals to lead us onward and upward in helping those in need and growing together in Spirituality, Friendship, and Service.

The SVDP Mission Statement: “A network of friends, inspired by Gospel values, growing in holiness and building a more just world through personal relationships with and service to people in need.’’

To God be the Glory!
