We do accept items such as: salt & pepper packets, nutmeg, vanilla flavor/extract, butter, 12 oz. cups, brown sugar, corn meal, garlic powder, Tony Chachere's seasoning, dishwashing liquid, paper napkins, plastic forks, oregano, dehydrated onions, Kitchen Bouquet, hot sauce, parsley flakes, hinged fold-over compartment plates, paper towels, kitchen towels, bleach, Windex and cleansers.
The following urgent food items are always in demand: meats (beef, poultry, pork, seafood) rice, sugar, dry beans and spaghetti, as well as the following canned goods: black eye peas, green beans, chicken broth, green peas, corn, tomato paste, and tomato sauce. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul has established the League of Angels for individuals who remember the Society in their estate planning. Remembering the Society is easy. Individuals can include the Society in their wills, charitable remainder trusts, and insurance policies, as well as other assets.
