As we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we remember the importance of serving those in need. Dr. King once said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is, What are you doing for others?"
At St. Vincent de Paul, we are dedicated to feeding, clothing, housing and healing individuals and families in our community who have nowhere else to turn for help. But just as important, we help others serve their neighbors in need through different volunteer opportunities. And we believe that everyone can help someone regardless of age or economic background.
Join us in following the example of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, by serving those most in need in our Capital Region.
Every day at our St. Vincent de Paul Dining Room, we serve nutritious meals to hundreds of individuals and families.
Every night at our Bishop Ott Shelter Program, we provide shelter to homeless men, women and children.
Every day and night we are working to make our community a better place for those in need. Volunteer today, and do something for someone in need. Together we can and do make a difference!
